POSITION VACANT: HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

The Catholic Diocese of Rockhampton invites applications from dynamic and well-organised HR professionals to join our team at an exciting time of change.

The position of Human Resource Manager reports to the Director of Diocesan Services and is responsible for promoting a positive organisational culture that is focussed on Catholic values, performance and accountability.

It is essential that the successful applicant has:

   - A degree in human resources and relevant experience in a generalist HR role

   - A strong understanding of employment legislation and awards

   - Demonstrated extensive experience in developing successful and comprehensive organisation development, human resource management, risk management, corporate planning and organisational performance policies and procedures

   - Extensive knowledge and evidence of application of a broad range of contemporary human resource practices and strategies, such as strategic workforce planning, performance management, industrial and employee relations, EEO, diversity and organisational change and reviews

   - Strong communication and interpersonal skills including proven negotiation, influencing, mediation, counselling, presentation and conflict resolution skills

   - A thorough knowledge of and commitment to the Diocesan Vision Statement and Values
