Diocesan Vocations Promotions was established to promote and support the vocation of all people in the diocese, firstly the baptismal vocation of every person, and more particularly, to promote and encourage vocations to ordained ministry or religious life. It advertises such events as National Vocations Awareness Week and provides links to resources and personnel who are best able to help an individual in the discernment of his/her particular vocation.

Diocesan Youth Ministries has three overarching goals:

The Western Region Pastoral Ministry is a ministry of presence to the people on isolated properties and isolated communities in the western part of the Diocese. The minister engages with the people of the outback through the joys and trials of their lives and provides spiritual and liturgical opportunities if requested. Sr Mary also prepares families for the sacraments, and conducts funerals when asked.
