Diocesan Vocations Promotions

Diocesan Vocations Promotions was established to promote and support the vocation of all people in the diocese, firstly the baptismal vocation of every person, and more particularly, to promote and encourage vocations to ordained ministry or religious life.   It advertises such events as National Vocations Awareness Week and provides links to resources and personnel who are best able to help an individual in the discernment of his/her particular vocation.

Diocesan Youth Ministries

Diocesan Youth Ministries has three overarching goals:

  • To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today
  • To draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the Catholic faith community and
  • To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.

These goals are addressed with the understanding that Youth Ministry is the response of the entire Christian Community to the needs of young people and the sharing of the unique gifts of young people with the larger community.
