My dear parishioners I write to wish you the blessings and graces of Lent, as we preapre together for the great moment of Easter. In earlier years, we saw Lent as a journey through the desert to work through, in order to reach the joyful time of Easter. Today, we understand Lent as a time to discover again how close the Lord is to each one of us and to grow further into that relationship. I hope that you will join in our diocesan Lenten Program 'Come to Life'. It will bring to life the Gospels for each week and will help us to appreciate the great gift of our environment. As I wish you in advance a Happy Easter, in the meantime, I wish you a Happy Lent as you discover again how much God loves you. Yours sincerely
